Precision Power Powerclass Subwoofers

Precision Power Powerclass Subwoofers.sPowerClass® subwoofers offer many of the same state of the art features as the flagship DCX product, but with more modest power handling and price targets. The heavy gauge steel baskets are tooled to reflect the same cutting-edge industrial design as DCX, while supporting very good excursion driven by less massive conventional motor assemblies. PowerClass subs use the same, ultra-rigid foamed polypropylene cone technology, a good match for the DCX coaxial or component speakers. Their power handling limit is a very strong 500 watts peak, for use in systems with the smaller PCX amplifier models. These subwoofers offer a strong combination of competition-grade performance and good looks, making them a good choice for most mobile audio enthusiasts.

Precision Power DCX SUBWOOFERS

Precision Power DCXsThe DCX (Dynamically Controlled eXcursion) subwoofer continues the PrecisionPowerfi tradition of high performance and innovation that dates back to the flat piston, high-power Pro-series. DCX subs feature a unique new motor design called Dual Gap Geometry or DGG (patent pending) that centers a short, lightweight voice coil between two magnetic gaps. The resulting ultralight moving mass is driven through a far more linear stroke by the flatter, extended magnetic field. Careful balancing of excursion limits and power handling results in what is almost certainly one of the most accurate, high output subwoofers available. Dual spiders on a ventilated spider ring keep the moving mass centered throughout its stroke, and improve airflow for better cooling. The DGG motor assembly uses a cluster of smaller magnets arranged around the vented pole piece as well as a more conventional magnet assembly for the lower half of the motor. All of this results in a subwoofer that maintains extreme linearity and limits distortion while keeping its cool at power input up to 1,000 watts. The new proprietary die-cast basket and other custom-tooled integral parts mean that DCX subs look as sweet as they sound.

Precision Power D3000.1 Amplifier

Precision Power D3000.1Precision Power again combines its rock-solid PWM regulation with the efficient power delivery of class D. From the all-new 500 watt (Max Power) D500/1 to the potent D3000/1, these four mono block designs are based on extraordinarily robust power supplies with ultra-flexible front ends, all housed in a sleek new industrial design. Extruded top panels extend heat sink heat dissipation across the entire top surface of the amp, improving thermal run times & allowing smaller overall dimensions. Back-lit engraved-metal badging and an interactive illuminated PPI lightning logo that indicates amplifier status complete the advanced look. The massive internally finned main extrusion – a Precision Power hallmark – ensures even heat distribution throughout and an ultra-rigid chassis for stable PCB mounting. Simplified bare wire connections are ensured via the most innovative PowerLock terminal design yet. These proprietary terminals easily accept cabling up to 4 AWG (power) or 12 AWG (speaker) but also offer a unique feature: the terminals come already installed on the end panels and can be used as fixed connections, but can also be removed with a single screw if a detachable connector is your preference.
