The KDC-MP205 plays MP3 and WMA files and includes Kenwood’s exclusive System Q equalizer with 5 factory presets (Rock, Pop/Top 40, Jazz, Easy, plus Flat). Proprietary Supreme signal processing enhances the sound quality of compressed music files by restoring lost high frequencies. The 14-segment FL (fluorescent) display shows you all the important operating functions, and is easy on the eyes with its scrolling 8-digit text readout. Operation is simple with the rotary encoder knob and jog control button. The CD section features scan, random, and repeat functions, as well as quad 1-bit D/A converters for unparalleled CD reproduction. Other features include a switchable rear/non-fading preamp output with crossover for adding an amplifier, detachable faceplate, loudness control, and one-touch mute function.
